Coleman rewards staff at Lagos jubilee bash
Coleman Technical Industries Limited honored workers at a staff appreciation event on the weekend in Lagos as part of celebrations for the company’s 50th anniversary, marked in July 2025. Employees with 15 years of service received 100,000 naira, while those reaching 20 years earned 200,000 naira. Adefemi Grace collected nearly 1 million naira after 38 years with the wire and cable manufacturer.
Managing Director George Onafowokan credited the workforce for building the business over five decades and promised improvements to compensation structures. The gathering brought together personnel from manufacturing sites in Sagamu and Arepo for competitions and entertainment. Five raffle winners each took home 50,000 naira at the celebration that featured games and dancing. The firm employs roughly 800 people and continues to expand its operations.
