Elastic Morphing Waveshaper in Dyna Pro
FKFX Audio has just released two new distortion plugins called Dyna Pro and Dyna. These plugins let you shape and sculpt your audio in really creative ways.
Dyna Pro is the more advanced version. It has a ton of features that give you a lot of control over how you distort your sound. One of the coolest things about it is the Elastic Morphing Waveshaper. This lets you dynamically change the distortion curves to get all sorts of unique textures.
Another great feature in Dyna Pro is the Perturbator Module. It adds synchronized grain and resonance effects that can make your sound really stand out. You can control things like pitch, volume, and even the shape of the perturbator oscillator.
Dyna Pro also has an advanced LFO module called LFOGRID. It creates rhythmic modulation curves based on Euclidean rhythms. This means you can come up with all sorts of interesting and dynamic LFO patterns.
There are a bunch of other features too, like a reverb, a micro delay, and a tool called FLUX that lets you create looping buffers. All of these work together to give you a ton of options for shaping your sound.
Dyna is the streamlined version of Dyna Pro. It still has the core waveshaping tools, but in a simpler package. You still get the Elastic Morphing Waveshaper, a simplified version of the Perturbator, and the AIR Module for adding a soft, distant reverb tail.
Both plugins also have an AUTO Dry/Wet Mode. This automatically crossfades the wet signal with the waveshaper morphing control. It’s a handy feature that makes it easy to blend your distorted sound with the original signal.
So whether you go for the full-featured Dyna Pro or the streamlined Dyna, you’re getting a really powerful and creative tool for distorting and shaping your audio. These plugins give you a ton of control and make it easy to come up with unique and interesting sounds.
