Line 6 Releases Helix Native v3.80 Update
Line 6 has released version 3.80 of Helix Native and HX, and they strongly recommend that all Helix and HX users update to this new version. The update includes six new amps, four new cabs, one new effect, and several bug fixes.
The new amps are based on famous models like the Fender Super Reverb, Bogner Ecstasy 101B, and EVH 5150III 100. Users can now enjoy the tones of these iconic amps in their Helix and HX units. The new cabs are captured from various sources, including the Fender Super Reverb, Ben Adrian’s Cartographer, and the Soldano SLO 4×12 cabinet.
These cabs offer a range of tonal options for users to experiment with. The new effect is the Teardrop Bass Q wah, based on the Dunlop 105Q bass wah. It allows users to control the pedal position, bandwidth, volume, and mix of the effect. The update also addresses several bugs, such as issues with the Cosmos Echo, Ampeg B-15NF, and Mandarin Bass 200 amps, as well as glitches in the Poly Sustain delay. Overall, version 3.80 brings many new features and improvements to Helix Native and HX, making it an essential update for all users.
