Edmund Gemelo Jr., an Australian indie pop artist named Optacure, has released a new single called “With The Moon.” His music combines indie pop and electro-pop. He was inspired to write the song after spending a peaceful night on the beach with people he cares about, watching the moon rise. Edmund says it was one of the most beautiful moonrises he had ever seen, and he realized it was because of the people he was with. At first, he wrote about being afraid of losing those moments, but then he focused on how they made him feel instead.

Edmund produced the song with Ean Aguila, with whom he has collaborated for a long time. Ean worked from the Philippines, while Edmund recorded in Australia. “With The Moon” has a dynamic and fresh production style. Ean was influenced by Edmund’s music software (Reason) features and the innovative sounds of a Filipino artist named Manic Mundane. Ean says that this song challenged him to take the production in a new direction, which was challenging but rewarding and inspiring.
