Now he’s made his first solo song as Panda Bear in five years, teaming up with Cindy Lee. The song is called “Defense” and it’s about needing someone to support you. Both artists are known for being very careful about every small part of their music. The song has a strong beat, and Lennox sings about leaving a bad relationship. Then Lee jumps in with an amazing guitar solo that sounds like something from African desert rock. Even though Lennox sounds sad in the song, his voice fits perfectly with Lee’s music. This song gives fans a taste of what’s coming on his new album, Sinister Grift.
