Riot Audio Launches “Industry” for Kontakt Player
Riot Audio just came out with something really cool called Industry. It’s a new music tool that works with the free Kontakt Player software. Think of it as a keyboard that makes dark, gritty sounds perfect for movie soundtracks.
This tool is great at making industrial-style sounds. Users can mix and blend all kinds of noises, from spooky background sounds to deep bass notes. What makes it special is that it lets people create brand new sounds just by clicking a random button—and these aren’t just weird noises; they are sounds musicians can use.
Industry comes packed with four hundred different sound settings that cover everything from slow, flowing background sounds to sharp, hitting notes. Behind the scenes, it uses one hundred and eighty different sound recordings, including real engine noises and computer-made sounds. Musicians can work with three different sound layers at once and change how each layer flows and shifts over time.
Each part of a sound can be shaped and filtered separately, giving musicians lots of control. The random sound maker is pretty smart—it can create over five million different sound combinations. The whole thing works with NKS gear, and it comes with some pro-level sound effects,, too, including three different ways to add some grit to the sound. Best of all, anyone with the free Kontakt Player can use it.
