Song Athletics has released Friends

Song Athletics just released a new sample library called Friends. It’s a collection of classic studio instruments all in one package. The company says it’s beautifully crafted.

Friends includes 14 different instruments. There’s a grand piano, an upright piano, and two felt pianos. One felt piano has short notes. It also has an electric piano and two mono synths for lead sounds. Plus, there are two poly synths. One is bright and the other is more subdued.

The library also comes with drums, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, a bass guitar, and a double bass. Each instrument has a single mix based on multiple mic positions.

The instruments have up to 8 round robins and 6 dynamic layers. Everything was recorded at a high-quality 96kHz.

Friends is a Kontakt Player library. It needs Kontakt version 6.8.0 or higher to work. It’s also compatible with NKS.

The whole library is about 15.4GB in size. Song Athletics seems really excited to share this new collection of classic studio sounds with musicians and producers.
