Sony reduced the price of its a7R V mirrorless camera by $900 as part of a bundle that includes accessories for photographers and videographers. The full-frame camera features a 61-megapixel sensor with artificial intelligence autofocus and records 8K video at 24 frames per second. The processor delivers 8x the performance of earlier models and supports 10-bit color sampling with 16-bit raw output via HDMI connections.
The bundle provides a carrying case, an additional battery, and a memory card at the discounted rate. The camera offers 4K recording at 60 frames per second with full sensor width and captures still images at 10 frames per second. The electronic viewfinder displays 9.44 million dots at 120 frames per second refresh rates. The 3.2-inch touchscreen rotates in four directions for flexible shooting angles.
