Syne Adds ARM64 Support and UI Improvements
Syne is a special type of synthesizer that can make very complex sounds. It does this by giving the user a high level of control over a large number of “partials,” which are the individual components that make up a sound. This allows Syne to create sounds that other synthesizers simply can’t.
The latest update to Syne brings some exciting changes and improvements. For starters, it now runs natively on Windows computers with ARM64 processors. This means that if you have a Windows ARM system, Syne will automatically install the correct version for your machine.
The developers have also made the user interface look and feel fresher. They fixed a problem with the ordering link that happened after they started using a new payment system. There was also a bug that caused incomplete presets to be saved, but that’s been taken care of now.
Another issue they addressed had to do with the way the amplitude display zoom levels looked when you dragged the timeline. It wasn’t showing the right levels before, but now it’s all good.
On top of all that, the update includes a bunch of other bug fixes and improvements to make Syne even better than before. It’s really impressive how much control and flexibility this synthesizer offers for creating unique and complex sounds.
