Western Digital Releases 2TB NVMe SSD and USB4 Portable SSD
Western Digital has released the WD_Black SN7100, a 1TB or 2TB NVMe SSD with PCIe 4.0 support and a maximum theoretical read speed of 7250MB/s. The company is also releasing a portable flash drive with USB4 in the SanDisk line.
Western Digital is also releasing a portable memory drive, the SanDisk Extreme PRO. It has a storage capacity of 2TB or 4TB but will not be available for delivery for about two months. The model has a USB4 connection, which allows the drive to achieve a maximum of 3800MB/s read and 3700MB/s write speeds. It is the first SanDisk drive with USB4 that is not in the business line. The Extreme PRO also works with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 devices and supports Thunderbolt 4. The drive is intended to be taken with you and has a silicone casing for strength
