Adani Energy sees 16% income growth in H1 FY26
Adani Energy Solutions posted revenue of 6,767 crore rupees for the July-September quarter, a 6 percent rise from last year, as the power transmission company expanded capital spending and installed more smart electricity meters. Profit after adjustments jumped 21 percent to 557 crore rupees for the three months ended September.
Revenue climbed 16 percent to 13,793 crore rupees in the six months through September. The firm announced results on Monday showing earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached a record 4,144 crore rupees for the half-year period.
The Mumbai-based utility installed 7.4 million smart meters across India, more than any competitor, and activated three transmission lines. Chief Executive Kandarp Patel said the company expects stronger bidding activity and increased infrastructure investment through March as India accelerates its shift to cleaner energy sources.
Transmission projects under development total 60,004 crore rupees. The company maintained power line availability above 99.6 percent and collected 30 crore rupees in performance incentives for the quarter.
