Burns & Wilcox taps Tim Pasik for VP role
Burns & Wilcox hired Tim Pasik as senior vice president for commercial products. He will work from the New York office and report to executive vice president Scott Higgins. Pasik previously led wholesale excess operations at Markel and held positions at Gen Re and AEGIS Insurance Services.
The specialty brokerage brought back Taras Shalay as associate managing director in Michigan after his five years away from the company. Bonnie Steen received a promotion to regional vice president for Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. Chris Siegel will oversee Florida locations while Berri Willis takes charge of offices in the Carolinas.
