Canon R50V offers pro-level livestreaming under $700
Canon released a tutorial showing four methods to livestream with its EOS R50V camera, priced below 700 dollars. The mirrorless model records UHD 4K video at 60 frames per second, connects to computers via USB-C without a capture card, functions as a webcam, and links wirelessly to smartphones for mobile broadcasting.
Users can output clean HDMI signals to external capture devices or control recording remotely through the Camera Connect mobile application, which supports vertical video formats. The Live Switcher Mobile app allows switching between three video sources simultaneously from iOS devices. The 24.2-megapixel camera features a vari-angle touchscreen, Dual Pixel autofocus and Canon Log 3 recording for content creators.
