Captain Cool has launched operations in Nigeria’s air conditioning sector with services spanning equipment sales, installation, maintenance and system repairs. Founder Olatayo Ajiboye established the Sabiwork subsidiary after observing widespread client dissatisfaction with substandard installation practices and irregular maintenance schedules that undermined system efficiency despite quality equipment purchases.
The company secured a hotel air conditioning contract in Benin City during its initial week of business. Ajiboye indicated that expansion plans target multiple Nigerian cities while developing energy-efficient cooling technologies appropriate for local climate conditions, with objectives extending beyond revenue generation to elevating professional standards throughout the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry through skilled technician deployment and transparent operational procedures.
