EA drops Battlefield RedSec batte royal video game
Electronic Arts will release Battlefield RedSec as a free battle royale game for personal computers and current-generation consoles. The title supports 100 players across squads of four or pairs and features Fort Lyndon, a fictional California military facility that represents the franchise’s largest map.
The game requires destructible environments, with structures collapsing and terrain changing as combat progresses. Players need computers with Intel Core i5-8400 processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics cards, and 16 gigabytes of memory to meet minimum specifications. The system demands Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and Secure Boot activation, which prevents Linux compatibility.
Portal mode returns from previous entries and allows users to design custom matches with available weapons and vehicles. The publisher has not announced a launch date for the shooter, which competes with Warzone and Apex Legends through team-based gameplay and large-scale combat scenarios.
