Enhance Synth Textures with Noon’s Vessels
Noon Instruments has a new tool for music makers. It’s called Vessels, and it works with the free Kontakt Player. This is their second creation in their line of musical tools.
Vessels does something really cool with sound. It takes regular synth sounds and plays them through different objects to make them more interesting. Think of it like making a sound echo through various materials to give it new life.
The team recorded all these sounds at a special music studio in Hackney called Holy Mountain. They used both old-school analog synths and modern digital ones. Instead of just using the synths as they are, they found creative ways to change how they sound.
What makes Vessels special is how these sounds feel more real and physical. The synth tones have more depth and texture because of how they were recorded. It’s like the sounds picked up unique qualities from the different materials they passed through.
