GMKtec readies EVO-X2 AI mini PC
GMKtec will launch the EVO-X2 mini PC featuring AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with integrated neural processing capabilities for local artificial intelligence workloads, including inference and image generation. Links International Co., Ltd. will distribute the system at approximately $2,200 USD, with the compact computer offering 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and 2 TB NVMe solid-state storage to support machine learning applications and content creation tasks. The processor combines Zen 5 architecture with Radeon 8060S graphics.
The unit measures 77 millimeters wide by 186 millimeters deep by 192 millimeters tall, weighing around 1.6 kilograms in a metal chassis designed for thermal efficiency. Connectivity includes 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual USB 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and an SD card reader.
