Intel appoints Cindy Stoddard as new CIO to lead digital transformation
Intel Corporation has appointed Cindy Stoddard to the position of senior vice president and chief information officer, with responsibilities beginning in December under the direct supervision of CEO Lip-Bu Tan. The executive will manage the semiconductor manufacturer’s worldwide information technology operations while advancing efforts to modernize enterprise systems and strengthen artificial intelligence capabilities across internal platforms.
Stoddard arrives from Adobe, where she spent nearly ten years directing global IT infrastructure and cloud operations, including the execution of major cloud migration projects and enterprise data system upgrades. Her career spans over 25 years with previous leadership positions at NetApp, Safeway, APL and Consolidated Freightways, providing extensive background in logistics management and technology team development. The appointment signals Intel’s continued emphasis on operational transformation and technology infrastructure enhancement as the company works to reinforce its competitive position in the processor and AI markets.
