Live Nation posts record Q3, fueled by stadium surge
Live Nation Entertainment achieved another quarterly record during the three months ending in September, posting an 11 percent jump in revenue to reach $8.5 billion compared with $7.65 billion during the same period last year. The entertainment conglomerate attracted more than 51 million attendees worldwide during the third quarter while stadium performances surged 60 percent from 2024 levels.
Chief Executive Michael Rapino attributed the performance to sustained consumer interest across international markets. Concert operations generated $7.28 billion during the period, while ticketing operations brought in $797.6 million. Sponsorship and advertising deals added $442.7 million to overall results. Ticketmaster handled 89 million paid transactions through its platform.
The company disclosed that deferred revenue climbed 37 percent to $3.5 billion as fans purchased tickets well ahead of scheduled performances. Live Nation has already processed 26 million ticket sales for events scheduled throughout 2026. Management expects international attendance to exceed domestic numbers for the first time when 2025 figures are tallied. The firm recently restructured $1.9 billion in debt obligations and reduced its average borrowing costs to 4.2 percent.
