Meta brings Messenger voicemail and Siri integration
Meta has provided Messenger with a function to leave a message in audio or video if someone does not answer a call. The function can be activated when a user calls someone and they don’t respond, after which it is possible to leave a message for that person, Meta reports. A ‘record message’ button will then appear on the screen.
In addition, a function for ‘HD video calling’ will be automatically enabled on wifi. With this, it is possible to make higher-quality video calls, although Meta does not disclose any details. It is also possible to use custom backgrounds during video calling and there will be a function to instruct Siri to send a message or place a call via Messenger. Meta does not say when the functions will be active and keeps it at ‘soon’.
