MobileMoney Ltd. hosts 2025 Fintech Forum in Ghana
MobileMoney Ltd. held its 2025 Fintech Stakeholder Forum to examine digital finance regulations in Ghana. The Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research and the IMANI Centre for Policy and Education partnered on the event focused on digital credit and asset frameworks. Researchers presented findings about Ghana’s readiness to adopt new financial technology guidelines.
Bank of Ghana Second Deputy Governor Matilda Asante spoke at the gathering. Panel members Clara B. Arthur of GHIPSS, Ethel Cofie of EDEL Technologies, and Sylvia Otuo Acheampong of MobileMoney Ltd. discussed policy challenges with IMANI Africa Vice President Selorm Branttie and ISSER Professor Peter Quartey. Chief Executive Officer Shaibu Haruna said the forum helps align industry participants on financial inclusion goals. The annual conference brings together regulators and technology firms to address consumer protection and compliance standards.
