Mushroom Music taps Peermusic for Americas catalog
Independent publisher Mushroom Music has secured a sub-publishing agreement with Peermusic for representation across the United States, Canada and most of Latin America. The arrangement allows peermusic to manage copyright registration, royalty collection, synchronization licensing and creative development for songwriters from Australia and New Zealand signed to Mushroom’s roster, which features artists including Kylie Minogue, Amy Shark and Budjerah.
The partnership reflects Mushroom’s ambitions to strengthen its footprint throughout the Americas. Linda Bosidis, co-CEO at Mushroom Music, emphasized the company’s shared independent ethos and dedication to supporting songwriters through personalized relationships. Mary Megan Peer, CEO of Peermusic, highlighted the opportunity to leverage local creative and administrative resources to expand opportunities for Mushroom’s music creators. Peermusic maintains 39 offices spanning 32 countries and controls a catalog exceeding one million titles.
