Myntra bets big on glitz fest to woo Gen Z crowd
Myntra plans to host the GlamStream Fest 2025 at MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai on Saturday, November 16, beginning at 3 p.m., combining fashion presentations with musical performances and beauty demonstrations. The e-commerce platform described the gathering as among India’s first festivals merging style and entertainment, with admission passes currently sold through BookMyShow.
Singer Himesh Reshammiya will headline the program alongside additional performers to be announced later. Chief Marketing Officer Sunder Balasubramanian said the festival represents an expansion from creator-focused celebrations into a broader cultural gathering bringing together shoppers, influencers, brands and musicians. The event evolved from the Myntra Creator Fest and reflects the company’s partnerships with content creators.
Attendees can expect product launches, specially selected merchandise collections and promotional offers from popular brands. The festival targets fashion-conscious consumers, particularly younger demographics, by creating an immersive environment where music, beauty and clothing intersect. Myntra characterized the experience as inspired by international cultural trends while maintaining Indian characteristics, offering what the company calls a space for creative expression and celebration of the country’s fashion and lifestyle industries.
