Netgear debuts Nighthawk 5G M7 Wi-Fi 7 hotspot
Netgear announced a portable hotspot supporting Wi-Fi 7 and fifth-generation cellular networks with throughput reaching 3.6 Gbps while accommodating 32 simultaneous device connections. The Nighthawk 5G M7 integrates an eSIM marketplace enabling data package purchases across more than 140 countries
through a mobile application, with Gigs providing launch connectivity plans ranging from 3 GB to 20 GB.
The device employs Qualcomm Dragonwing SDX72 architecture for multi-gigabit cellular performance and includes WPA3 encryption alongside automated firmware distribution. A 10-hour battery permits mobile operation, and the unit functions as a power bank through its USB-C interface.
The unlocked hotspot operates on major American carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, without provider restrictions. Retail availability begins at $499.99.
