Orastron Updates Brickworks DSP and Launches Pro
Orastron has made some exciting updates to their music software tools. They’ve improved their free Brickworks DSP toolkit and launched a new product called Brickworks Pro.
The free version, now at 1.2.0, works better with older coding systems. It’s easier to use and runs more smoothly than before. The team has made the tools stronger and added useful features to many parts of the system. They’ve fixed lots of bugs and made everything work better overall. Musicians can now get ready-to-use plugins for their music software on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. People with iPhones can use it too, as long as they have iOS 14 or newer.
The new Brickworks Pro package brings some powerful features for making synthesizer sounds. It has tools to create classic synth waves like sawtooth and triangle shapes. These sounds are clean and clear, with no unwanted noise. Musicians can shape their sounds using filters that work just like famous vintage synth parts. The software handles musical notes in smart ways, letting players create complex patterns and layer multiple sounds together.
One special feature is a copy of the famous chorus effect from the Roland Juno-60 synthesizer, which adds richness to the sound. The Pro version also includes helpful tools for changing sound quality and keeping track of which notes are being played. All these features work together to help musicians make professional-quality synthesizer sounds.
The whole package shows how Orastron wants to help both casual and serious music makers. They’ve made their free tools better while adding new options for people who want more advanced features.
