Ron Borys tapped to lead Howden US unit
Howden hired Ron Borys to oversee financial lines operations across the United States as the brokerage expands its retail presence. Borys will manage the practice from New York and report to chief executive Mike Parrish while collaborating with global financial lines leader Adam Codrington. He previously directed the financial institutions group at Alliant Insurance Services and held senior positions at Marsh and Aon.
The appointment strengthens capabilities for clients with multinational risks across cybersecurity, executive liability, and banking sectors. Borys brings expertise from advising major corporations and financial institutions on program design and risk management strategies. Sarah Hughes from specialty practices said his background enhances advisory services across international markets. He starts after fulfilling existing contract terms with his current employer.
