SheVentures lifts Lagos with power networking
First City Monument Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to female entrepreneurs through its SheVentures initiative with a recent networking summit in Lagos. The event, themed on the power of balance, gathered hundreds of women from various industries to discuss achieving professional ambitions alongside personal well-being.
Felicia Obozuwa, Executive Director of Corporate Services and Service Management, stated that the SheVentures platform drives inclusive economic growth by providing capacity building, mentorship, and zero-interest loans. She emphasized that empowering women is an economic strategy for FCMB, aimed at building a sustainable ecosystem for female-led businesses.
The summit featured discussions with leaders such as Princess Adeyinka Tekenah of Happy Coffee Nigeria, strategist Dr Ella Ezeadilieje, and Lebara Nigeria CEO Teni Stuffman. Since its inception, the SheVentures program has supported thousands of Nigerian women with financial and mentorship resources, reinforcing the bank’s role as an advocate for gender inclusion in business.
