Silver Pines mixes Twin Peaks and metroidvania horror
Wych Elm Games and Team17 will release Silver Pines in 2026 for PC and major console platforms. The 2D survival horror game draws inspiration from Twin Peaks and features metroidvania exploration mechanics. Players control Red Walker, a private investigator searching for missing musician Eddie Velvet, who discovers a conspiracy behind the disappearance.
The game combines atmospheric visuals with puzzle-solving and combat against shadow creatures. Walker confronts his troubled past as he investigates the case. Developer Wych Elm Games announced the title at the Galaxies Showcase on Thursday. The indie studio aims for a potential Halloween 2026 launch window for its debut project.
