Sir Ukatu awarded honorary doctorate in Anambra
Tansian University awarded an honorary doctorate in business administration to industrialist Malinson Afam Ukatu at its 14th graduation ceremony in Umunya, Anambra State. The recognition acknowledged his extensive employment generation across Nigeria through multiple business ventures.
Ukatu oversees Nispo Porcelain Group and its related firms, including Malinson and Partners, Nispo Porcelain Floor and Tile Company, and Nispo Porcelain Pharmaceuticals. These enterprises have provided work for thousands of Nigerians across the manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.
Vice Chancellor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor spoke about the role of education in advancing society and the economy. He asked degree recipients to serve as ambassadors for the institution in their respective fields.
The ceremony marked another milestone for the private university as it continues expanding its academic programs and community engagement efforts.
