Thaton Property’s 2 267 Lifestyle Estate nears completion in Harare
A luxury apartment complex in Glen Lorne is scheduled for completion by December, representing a $16 million investment by developer Thaton Property to expand upmarket housing options in the capital. The 2,267 Lifestyle Estate will feature 82 units across eight buildings when finished, with solar backup systems addressing electricity supply challenges.
Executive chairman Ben Nyaumwe, who operates a Radisson Blu Hotel in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, said the development addresses demand for premium residences meeting global benchmarks. The property earned recognition at ceremonies held on UK soil during the 2025-2026 International Property Awards, taking honors for residential design and architectural merit. Units range from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom penthouses, all equipped with appliances and double-pane windows for climate control. Amenities span fitness facilities, recreational courts, and gathering spaces near Gletwyn Dam.
Nyaumwe separately partnered with WestProp for the construction of another Radisson Blu property in Harare that began in May and targets completion during 2026. Interest in the Glen Lorne estate has drawn attention from Zimbabweans living abroad seeking quality accommodation upon return.
