Uganda Qatar forum set for October in Doha
Uganda and Qatar will hold their second business forum on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at Rotana City Center in Doha. The event aims to connect investors, business executives, and government representatives from both countries under the theme of partnership for shared economic development. KON W.L.L. serves as the strategic partner for the gathering.
Ambassador Stephen Chebrot said the forum advances Uganda’s economic diplomacy efforts by creating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration. He invited Qatari businesses to invest in agriculture, tourism, minerals, energy, manufacturing and information technology sectors. The Uganda Investment Authority, Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Qatar Tourism will participate in presentations and discussions.
The program features keynote speeches, panel sessions and business-to-business networking designed to strengthen commercial ties between the nations. Participants will examine specific sectors through focused conversations and cultural displays. The forum supports Uganda’s broader strategy to attract foreign investment and expand export markets through international partnerships.
