Wendi partners with TotalEnergies for seamless fuel payments
Pearl Bank’s Wendi digital wallet will process fuel payments at TotalEnergies stations across Uganda following the companies’ agreement. Customers can spend between 500 shillings and 5 million shillings per transaction, while merchant accounts hold unlimited balances. Individual wallet limits reach 20 million shillings.
Station enrollment continues through the end of November 2025. Wendi account holders earn 10 percent annual interest and complete purchases by scanning QR codes at participating locations. First-time users register through mobile app downloads or USSD codes.
Peter Ssenyange serves as chief financial officer at Pearl Bank. Joseph Wechuli holds the finance manager position at TotalEnergies. The partnership adds payment flexibility for fuel and related services at company retail sites.
