ZimTrade chases Dubai organic gold
ZimTrade is supporting Zimbabwean exporters at the Middle East Natural and Organic Expo 2025 in Dubai from November 17 to 19. The event, themed “Redefining Clean and Sustainable Living,” is the region’s largest showcase for organic and natural products, drawing global buyers, suppliers, and consumers.
Market analyst Archford Mabuka said the expo offers Zimbabwe a direct route into fast-growing Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Rising incomes and demand for healthy, eco-friendly products there create strong opportunities for local exporters of herbal teas, essential oils, natural cosmetics, food, beverages, and wellness items.
Participation will enable Zimbabwean firms to meet distributors, retailers, and investors, establish long-term trade links, and gain insights into packaging regulations, certification requirements, and consumer preferences. This insight will enable them to adapt products to international standards and compete more effectively.
Mabuka added that the event highlights Zimbabwe’s focus on ethical and sustainable production, strengthening its reputation as a reliable source of premium natural goods. The expo aligns with ZimTrade’s strategy to expand Zimbabwe’s presence in emerging markets, boost foreign earnings, and support economic diversification through sustained export growth.
