Aon debuts AI tool for global supply chain risks
Aon built artificial intelligence tools that help companies spot weak points in their shipping networks before problems arrive. The broker scans more than 80,000 information sources across 200 nations to flag risks like supplier bottlenecks and transportation failures. Richard Waterer leads global risk consulting at Aon and said many businesses miss dangers buried in their delivery systems until disruptions start.
The platform alerts managers to threats through early warnings and regional maps that show where dependencies create exposure. Joe Galusha runs North American risk consulting and said the software blends predictive math with industry knowledge so clients can act fast when conditions shift. The system ranks hazards and delivers suggestions through diagnostic reports that support quick choices.
