ASUS packs Ryzen 9, RTX 5070 into tiny GR70 Mini PC
ASUS ROG has launched the GR70 Mini PC, a sub-3-liter gaming system that combines desktop-level performance with a compact footprint. It features AMD’s 16-core Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor, built on the Zen 5 architecture with second-generation 3D V-Cache, and pairs it with either an NVIDIA RTX 5070 or 5060 Laptop GPU. The combination supports DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation for higher frame rates using AI-driven rendering.
Despite its small size, the GR70 maintains low noise levels—under 4.5 dB(A)—thanks to ROG’s triple-fan QuietFlow cooling system. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, eight USB ports, and support for up to five 4K displays, making it suitable for gaming, streaming, or creative workflows.
The system features a toolless design for easy access, allowing for memory upgrades of up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM and additional storage via ASUS’s Q-Latch M.2 slots. ROG Armoury Crate software provides control over fan curves, hardware monitoring, BIOS-level overclocking, and preset performance modes tailored to specific games.
