ASUSTOR rolls out Drivestor Gen2 NAS line
ASUSTOR released the Drivestor Gen2 AS12 series network storage systems featuring the AS1202T two-bay and AS1204T four-bay configurations designed for residential and small office environments. Both models use a Realtek RTD1619B quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor running at 1.7 gigahertz alongside 1 gigabyte of DDR4 memory, 8 gigabytes of eMMC storage, and 2.5 gigabit Ethernet connectivity for accelerated file transfers.
The devices support hardware decoding of H.264 and AV1 formats, enabling 4K video playback at 60 frames per second, while three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports accommodate external backups and peripherals through tool-free drive installation. ASUSTOR’s ADM operating system provides user access controls and one-touch USB backup functionality within a compact chassis engineered for continuous operation.
Taiwan pricing stands at NT$6,590 for the two-bay unit and NT$9,990 for the four-bay version, with availability through official channels and regional distributors as the company targets the growing multimedia streaming and backup storage market.
