The performance rights organization BMI has announced a series of internal promotions within its creative department. Nina Carter has been elevated to Executive Director of Partnerships and Events, a role in which she will continue to lead initiatives creating performance opportunities for affiliated songwriters at major festivals.
Several other team members received promotions to Senior Director positions across various genres and cities. These individuals include Marché Butler in Atlanta, MaryAnn Keen in Nashville, Katie Kilgallen in New York, Chris McCormick in New York, and David Streit in Los Angeles. Additional promotions were granted to Alex Bostelman, who became a Director, and Claire Dodelin, who is now an Associate Director.
Mike Steinberg, BMI’s Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue and Creative Officer, stated that the promotions recognize the employees’ hard work and contributions to supporting the creative community. He expressed confidence that the group would continue to provide excellent opportunities and resources for the songwriters and composers the organization represents. In their new roles, these executives will continue to identify new talent and support music creators through events and career guidance.
