Sony promotes Dee Hale to SVP film and TV admin
Sony Music Publishing has elevated Dee Hale to Senior Vice President of Film and Television Administration. Based in the company’s Nashville office, she will continue reporting to Executive Vice President Dale Esworthy. In this elevated capacity, Hale will act as the main administrative liaison for studio clients while supporting the publisher’s United Kingdom studio operations.
Hale expressed her enthusiasm for continuing her work with the company’s studio clients and contributing to the business. Esworthy praised her dedication to songwriters and composers, highlighting her instrumental leadership in global administration initiatives. Hale brings over three decades of experience to the role, having collaborated with major studios and acclaimed composers throughout her career.
Her promotion is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the publisher’s Nashville presence, which has recently included new global agreements with companies like By Design and Sea Gayle Music. Hale also serves as co-chair for an industry forum focused on film and television rights administration.
