COUGAR floats PC design into the future
COUGAR will release its CFV235 computer case series on Thursday, Oct. 31, with models starting at $137. The mid-tower design eliminates front pillars and creates an open channel between upper and lower sections for direct airflow through the center. The manufacturer constructs frames from 1.5-millimeter steel and adds magnetic RGB strips along ventilation gaps.
The CFV235 Vision variant adds a 9.16-inch display with 1920 by 462 resolution that shows hardware statistics or custom media. Both versions accommodate Mini-ITX through CEB motherboards and support graphics cards up to 430 millimeters long with processor coolers reaching 175 millimeters tall. The cases hold radiators measuring 360 millimeters and provide 38 millimeters of cable routing space.
COUGAR demonstrated the architecture at COMPUTEX 2025 earlier this year. The standard black case weighs 9.5 kilograms, while the Vision white edition reaches 10 kilograms and costs $260.
