EDGE Group and L3Harris sign UAE defence MOU
EDGE Group and L3Harris Technologies have formalized a preliminary agreement to enhance defense cooperation in the United Arab Emirates. The memorandum establishes a foundation for joint development of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems while positioning L3Harris for expanded Middle East operations.
Both organizations will collaborate on national and regional defense projects, with research efforts centered on advanced technology deployment. Hamad Al Marar, who leads EDGE as managing director and chief executive, described the partnership as supporting accelerated product development across rapidly advancing domains. Christopher Kubasik, chair and chief executive of L3Harris, characterized EDGE as an innovative collaborator aligned with the company’s strategy for disruptive partnerships.
L3Harris maintains an Abu Dhabi office and has supplied the UAE with defense capabilities for over three decades.
