EngineEars debuts Direct music distro service
EngineEars, an audio engineer marketplace, has launched a new distribution service named EngineEars Direct. This feature enables artists to upload their music directly to all major streaming platforms through its existing system. The service is powered by the EMPIRE-owned white label platform, Supply Chain.
According to company founder Derek Ali, this launch represents the second developmental phase for EngineEars. The platform initially provided tools for engineers, such as booking and file sharing. It now offers a comprehensive workflow, allowing creators to book sessions, manage projects, and distribute unlimited releases while keeping all their royalties.
Chief Executive Officer Ghazi Shami of EMPIRE stated that his company was pleased to provide its distribution infrastructure to support creativity on the EngineEars platform. The new service includes analytics and advertising tools for artists.
