Enshrouded adds water and fishing update
Keen Games will release its largest free content expansion for survival game Enshrouded on Nov. 10. The Wake of the Water update adds dynamic water systems, swimming mechanics, and fishing gameplay alongside new creatures such as capybaras that players can tame. The German studio redesigned the user interface and rebalanced weapon statistics to align damage types with item descriptions while extending equipment durability based on level and rarity.
The patch introduces craftable legendary weapons from enemy drops that scale with opponent difficulty levels. Developers eliminated a persistent glitch allowing infinite chest looting through server resets and reduced passive health regeneration rates to maintain combat challenge. The update precedes the scheduled 2026 launch across personal computers and gaming consoles for the title that has attracted more than 4 million participants.
