FAAN highlights role in Nigeria’s removal from FATF grey list
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and its role in combating corruption. FAAN Managing Director, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, celebrated Nigeria’s removal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Grey List, commending the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and other agencies involved.
Mrs. Kuku noted that this milestone reflects Nigeria’s strengthened Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing frameworks, which will restore global confidence and improve trade and investment opportunities. She also highlighted FAAN’s significant role in the achievement, encouraging potential investors to view Nigeria as a secure investment destination.
