FMJ-Software Updates Awave Studio to v12.7
FMJ-Software has released an update for Awave Studio, bringing it to version 12.7. Awave Studio is a versatile software that serves as an audio editor, instrument editor, and file format converter all in one.
The new version introduces several enhancements and added capabilities. It now supports Unicode text metadata, allowing for better handling of text information within audio files. Additionally, image metadata can now be associated with waveforms, providing visual context.
The update expands Awave Studio’s compatibility with various file formats. It can now read and write Renoise instrument files (.XRNI), enabling seamless integration with the Renoise music production software. For .SF3 files, lossless FLAC compression is now supported, ensuring high-quality audio while optimizing file size.
Markers and regions can now be read and written in .AIFF, .CAFF, .W64, and .WAV files, providing more flexibility in audio editing and organization. Awave Studio also supports the EBU RF64 format for .WAV files larger than 4GB, accommodating extended recording sessions and large-scale projects.
The software can now read Decent Sampler library files (.DSLIBRARY), making it easier to work with sounds and presets from the Decent Sampler platform. Additionally, AKAI MPC expansions (.XPN) can be read, expanding the range of compatible sound libraries.
Lastly, Awave Studio introduces a new program options inspector, providing users with a convenient way to view and modify various settings and preferences within the software.
