Former Twitter CEO Jack Patrick Dorsey to launch Bluesky app

Jack Patrick Dorsey, the founder and former CEO of a popular microblogging platform Twitter, Inc. which was recently purchased by Telsa, Inc’s founder Elon Musk for billions of U.S. dollars will be launching yet another social media company called Bluesky i.e, powered by Authenticated Transfer Protocol.

In the meantime, if y’all are interested to be part of the beta version of Bluesky social network you’ve got to stand in line —  on a waiting list because the application itself isn’t open to povho (i.e., the general public). Only a small group of users currently have access to it.

In addition, Bluesky’s promise is to allow people to interact freely and create content, without cancel culture getting in the way. You know the kind of moderation that makes you quickly delete the application altogether and head over to somewhere like Reddit, albeit Reddit itself is somewhat filled with too many echo chambers that they call subreddits. And in those echo chambers, you ought to remain on the unpaid moderators’ side otherwise you will get banned.

Conclusion:

Below are some interesting facts about Jack Dorsey:

  • He co-founded Twitter in 2006.
  • When he resigned, Parag Agrawal was named CEO of Twitter.
  • Dorsey also founded Square, a mobile payments company, now called Block.
