Ghana cedi dips against dollar on October 22, 2025
The cedi weakened against the dollar on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, with banks buying at GHS10.57 and selling at GHS11.34. Forex bureaus purchased dollars at GHS12.00 and sold them at GHS12.50. Cedirates.com provided the exchange data for currency markets.
The Bank of Ghana interbank system quoted GHS10.74 for purchases and GHS10.76 for sales. The pound traded at GHS14.00 to buy and GHS15.11 to sell at currency exchange offices. LemFi charged GHS10.65 per dollar for transfers from the United States or the United Kingdom, while Taptap Send set rates at GHS10.70.
Remittance services quoted the pound at GHS14.45 through LemFi and GHS14.41 via Taptap Send. The euro costs GHS12.17 at bureaus for buying and GHS13.14 for selling. Visa and Mastercard charged GHS11.50 per dollar for streaming subscriptions.
