Guild Wars 2 sails into Visions of Eternity
ArenaNet released Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity for personal computers on Thursday, adding Castora Island with two exploration zones and fresh narrative content. The expansion costs $24.99 and includes plans for multiple free updates across 2026. Game director Josh Davis said the location marks the first time the multiplayer title ventures into territory unfamiliar to all participants.
The narrative begins as Tyrian Alliance investigators track Inquest activities around the magical island. Players access Shipwreck Strand and Starlit Weald maps alongside an upgraded skimmer mount, raid battles and homestead construction areas. The package contains boss encounters, abilities and seasonal items for the fantasy combat system.
