Hanwha QCells to unveil AI energy system at APEC summit
Hanwha QCells will showcase artificial intelligence software for data center power management at the APEC CEO Summit next week. Park Young-choon from the solar company’s Grid & Energy Services unit teams with Microsoft Vice President Uli Homann for a presentation on autonomous energy optimization systems.
Park joined QCells in 2023 after holding positions at AWS and Johnson Controls. The partnership with Microsoft aims to deploy AI-powered efficiency tools across American and international facilities.
The executive said intelligent orchestration could simultaneously improve facility performance and support environmental goals. QCells operates as the renewable energy division of Hanwha Solution.
