Intel dangles game bundle, buyers gripe over limits
Intel launched a holiday promotion for 2026 that bundles software and video games valued at up to $280 with purchases of certain processors, graphics cards and notebook computers. The campaign operates through select merchants in designated markets and features two participation tiers called Standard and Platinum.
Buyers who qualify for the Standard package can pick one major game title from a selection featuring Battlefield 6, Dying Light: The Beast, Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Civilization VII. That tier also grants yearlong access to Canvid, VEGAS Pro 23, XSplit Premium Suite and Cephable Plus, along with extra Marvel Rivals materials. The total value for this package reaches roughly $185.
Premium notebooks running Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake chips and particular Arrow Lake-H or Arrow Lake-HX models qualify for the Platinum level. This upgraded tier lets customers choose two titles from the four-game roster and receive a third selection at no charge. Enhanced versions comprise Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition and Assassin’s Creed Shadows Digital Deluxe, while the complimentary option allows selection between Dying Light: The Beast and Civilization VII.
