Jogobu CEO touts tech for cutting costs, boosting efficiency
Jogobu Limited said technology is central to improving efficiency and lowering operating costs, the company’s chief executive, Blaise Kudatugu, told a business seminar in Accra. He described locally developed software that shortens routine audits and stocktakes from hours to minutes and estimated automation can trim expenses by as much as 30 to 60 percent. The firm supplies e-ID cards, inventory systems and GPS tracking while offering in-house development and local support, which it said gives clients faster problem resolution and greater flexibility.
The company highlighted its flagship JCL Soft platform as a web and mobile system that combines asset tracking and stock control and links with major enterprise resource planning packages such as Oracle, Sage, SAP, QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics. The solution supports barcode scanning, QR codes and RFID to suit different tracking needs and aims to reduce waste and strengthen accountability. Kudatugu urged stronger public-private cooperation on national cybersecurity, arguing that corporate firewalls are not sufficient without broader traffic regulation, and pledged continued investment in product refinement and customer service.
